Dear friend! |
|
Uganda and its peoples is PCU’s target in evangelical and mission
work.
Uganda have a vast number of Christians but many are only nominal members
of churches and not born again believers. The harvest is great indeed and
PCU will work tirelessly to preach and teach God’s word in this country.
God willing, we shall win Uganda for Christ! |
|
Norway is
also one of the affiliated bodies to PCU and missionaries have come from
there to work in fellowship with the Ugandan nationals. Norway have as
well supported the work financially and spiritually and are still present
in Uganda through one missionary family living at Mbuya. |
|
FFFM (Finnish Free
Foreign Mission) is one of the affiliated bodies and has sent a good number
of missionaries to Uganda working in the spiritual field as well as with
the humanitarian and social needs. FFFM has contributed relief funds and
given other material assistance to the needy and continue to do so. |
|
Canada is also involved in
Uganda as churches there have sent missionaries to the country. These are
at present Hannu and Milla Happonen. Hannu Happonen is the current
principal of Mbuya Bible School. The link the PCU have to Canadian
Pentecostal Movement is vital and important. |
|
In Kenya we have our counterparts, the Full Gospel Churches of Kenya and Free Pentecostal Fellowship of Kenya. Behind these names we find missionary activity from Finland and Norway since long time back. These churches are now fully independent and represent a great work. Much of PCU work is originating from outreach within these two bodies. Would you like to know our statement of faith? Click here |
